GDC which is screen type technology and are recommended for uniform chips size medium hard , fibrous and moist materials.The wood chipper is of Drum type chipper, the cutting knifes are mounted on cylindrical drum with knife packets. Drum chipper employ mechanisms consists of a large steel drum rotate by a motor or engine. The drum is mounted parallel to the feed mouth and spins towards the fixed blades and screen. The material is fed in to the chipper with the help of the feed conveyor with force feed rollers (variable speed) through which the material goes into the drum where its gets cut in to small pieces which the help of moving chipper blades. The chipped material is screened out through a perforated screen (preferred size) to ensure the appropriate output size of the material./p>
